Today, we had a very interesting conversation about these yummy treats. I grew up knowing them as King Dons, although I like knowing them better as Ding Dongs. You do the math.

Being just SLIGHTLY older than you, I grew up calling them King Dongs..the flat round cakes, Ding Dongs were the rolled cakes. With King Dongs you could suck the cream filling out but with Ding Dongs you had to lick it out.....ewww. LOL
