So, what's new?

OK, I decided to write a real blog post instead of constantly embedding videos...it's been a while. Plus, every time I go onto my blog, that stupid fucking "Ballbuster" commercial always just started playing and it got annoying. So, if there are any people that remotely look at my blog anymore, I thought I'd give you an update on what's going on with Chris and I. Let's see....we've been getting estimates on fencing in our back yard. *oh, how gruesomely exciting!* To prep, I've been cutting down lots of overgrown crappy "bushes" such as honeysuckle. But, it's been taking 4-eva. fageddaboudit. Another milestone in the Stanford household is that we'll be getting Jack neutered on Monday. I asked for his nuts in a jar. I thought it would be rad. We also decided we need to have the Triumph towed so that we can actually drive it this summer. It needs a decent amount of work, mainly brakes. Stopping helps. What else........ I bought new pillows yesterday. OK, I know when to end things. I got nothin. What's new with you pricks?

On my recent trip to Burger King I made a little departure from my main stay and decided to do a little covert ops. I found the coupon code book for free whoppers and chicken sandwiches.

All you have to do is get a reciept from a burger king that has a survey box on the back. Instead of calling the number and wasting your time just follow these instructions for free no hassle food.

Here are the instructions:

• Find a reciept with the telephone survey on the back.
• Where it says to write the code and place the two letter code followed by 5 numbers (hint: Numbers do not have to be in any order or value except that there has to be five of them) for which month you are currently in.
• Example: WH 12345 the only thing they will check are the two letters.
• You still have to buy any size fry or drink but you will always get a free sandwich of your choosing.

Month Codes:

Based on which month your are in choose the two letters that coincide with that month.

1. Jan = BB
2. Feb = LS
3. Mar = JH
4. April = PL
5. May = BK
6. June = WH
7. July = FF
8. Aug = BF
9. Sept = CF
10. Oct = CK
11. Nov = CB

This past weekend, we went to the AVOC fundraiser with our friends. I had never been to a black tie event before, but it turned out to be tons of fun. Weekend Fun

Chris's family came in this weekend and we had a really fun weekend. The pictures highlight one particular stop at the Newport Aquarium that we went to. The pictures suck, because they're from my phone, but they are taken in the bird sanctuary where you can feed beautifully-colored birds (some sort of parakeet thingys). Laura (Chris's sister) took a bunch of really good pics, so I may be able to post some of those later. In the meantime, here are the 3 shitty ones I took. Anyway, it was pretty funny to be standing there and, all of a sudden, there is a bird landing on your shoulder. We all enjoyed it. The woman standing behind us - not so much. One of the birds pissed all over her shirt. Ha!

This year's P-Town trip was fucking fabulous! We did some things that we haven't in the past (ie: the circuit cruise) and met more fun, cool people. I was just happy that the Immodium kicked in and didn't cause any of my organs to fall out. Here are some pictures to view. Here are more from Chris's collection. The trip home, however, was another story. I don't have the energy to give the whole story, but let's just say that there were some very high seas, a lot of puking, and I've decided to never fly Delta again. I'm so ready for vacation to get here. We leave on Friday to go to Provincetown, MA for a week. This 90-100 degree heat is getting very old and I am looking forward to 75-80 degree weather. Plus, it's Carnival week next week (think of a gay Mardi Gras). So, while all you tards are sizzling in the heat, I'll be drinking on the beach. Don't be jealous, it makes you look old.

So, we once again had a great time at my parents' lakehouse this weekend. Not only was it the infamous 127 Yard Sale, but it was the yearly get-together in Owenton, KY. The stifling heat, the freak monsoon rainstorm on the lake, and the many spots of random dog shit didn't stop us from having fun. Here are some pictures that I took. So, I Sorta Kick Ass

At least in my mind. I bought a wireless print server and connected it correctly. It's awesome because I can hit print anywhere in the house and print shit. Even though it's only about 15 steps away from where I usually am, I can now be a WOL and print from wherever my ass is parked. I love it. Plus, Chris can print from either of his computers too. Now, if I feel like printing a kick-ass photo, I won't have to trek upstairs. I'm all about sloth. It's so much easier. BTW, I bought a LinkSys. OK, that's as computer geeked I get. Swear to God. They FINALLY bought a house. I would have put a link to the listing, but since they closed already, the website took it down. Meanwhile, their house on Wilke is still for sale. Feel free to direct any interested parties here! Chris and I were lucky enough to get to move them (minus very large furniture) last weekend. It was quite the ridiculous weekend (meaning my father), but we managed to move a lot of their shit. Anyway, they have a really nice new house. Once I get time, I'll take some pictures and post them. The best part is that we live 5 minutes further than their old house. Yes, I'm going straight to hell.

Cornhole Update

Like you really care...but today was more or less take 2 steps back and 1 step forward. I ripped off the old tops (with the incorrect hole size), with Chris's help. Thanks honey. I then went to Homo Depot and bought new 24"x48" pieces of plywood, along with more sandpaper and hardware to attach the legs. I got home and cut the CORRECT size holes and attached the tops. Then I called it quits. I'll save sanding for another day, since it's a bitch and a half. Then I can paint and put on the finishing touches. So, send me your advanced reservations for play. I'll see if I can squeeze you in.

The website I was working from was very confusing, and after reading other sites, I realized I screwed up. So, that means I have to re-do about 1/2 of the work I've already done. My Back is Achy

I finished putting down mulch in front of our house today after work. It took a few hours, but our house fucking rocks. Chris also bought some gi-normous hanging plants and installed a slow drip irrigation system so that we don't have to bother with them much.
